Phrae is a province that is reputed to be "The Gate of Lanna East" has many old and interesting cultural sites for tourists to experience. Wat Phra That Cho Hae is a priceless sanctuary of Phrae province for a long time and is the yearly relics of those born in the Year of the Tiger. Wat Chom Sawan is built entirely of teak and is unique in that the roof is stacked into beautiful layers. As for tourists who like Thai and European architecture must find an opportunity to visit Khum Wong Buri and 
Khum Chao Luang once. Both have outstanding decorations with a decorative pattern of wood, which was popular during the reign of King Rama 5 which is called "Gingerbread House". Next to the town of Phrae, there are many places to visit such as Pha Nang Khoi Cave, Wiang Kosai national park, Doi Pha Khlong National Park, Kaeng Luang, Kaeng Suea Diao, and another important highlight that should not be missed is the Phae Muang Phi which is a natural phenomenon of soil and sandstone that has been eroded into pillars of strange various shapes
